CookED - Food & Cooking Education
Our food and cooking education programs are designed to teach you about
the how, what, where & why of food. Sessions will provide tips, tricks, recipes and information that will help you
shop, cook and eat better. Some ideas of what we can do are below but we love to tailor our sessions to ensure they
meet your exact needs and interests. Workshops are perfect for school aged children, mothers' groups, school parents'
groups, sporting organisations, teachers or any community group.
CookED Demonstrations - "interactive,
dynamic cooking demonstrations" Our CookED
demonstrations are perfect for any promotion or event. Presented by Sally Lukey and incorporating her experience as a teacher
and corporate trainer, our demonstrations can be tailored to suit your needs. We will happily create recipes to promote a
particular product or to target an audience, ensuring that we meet your speicific objectives. We can also organise tastings
and samples if required.
CookED Information Sessions - "informative & practical sessions about food" Our CookED Information Sessions are designed to share
knowledge, tools and tips around food. We can cover everything from improving your kitchen organisation (think planning, cooking
& shopping) to creating a tempting yet healthy kids lunchbox. Great for any community group we guarantee your audience
will take away a pot full of useful tricks and ideas that will help change the way they think about food. Click below to see
some ideas or ask us to personalise something just for you.
Kids CookED - "in
school cooking program for preps to Year 8" This is an incursion style program
designed for Primary and Middle Years students. It is a great combination of hands on, demonstration and information. We tailor
our sessions to meet the learning needs according to the age and stage of the group, ensuring that it is a fun and educational
experience. We will happily incorporate the use of a school garden into our program too if appropriate. The CookED
program incorporates outcomes in the curriculum areas of literacy, mathematics and science as well as interpersonal and
intrapersonal skills.
